At last … the day we’ve been waiting a very long time for … the Grand Egyptian Museum has now officially opened in its entirety, and that includes the largest ever display of Tutankhamun’s treasures – well over 5000 artefacts, many displayed for the very first time.

This Christmas Lecture will be a feast for the eyes as Lucia takes us into these stunning new galleries and talks about many of the wonderful objects on display. Join us for a sumptuous pharaonic lecture to celebrate this festive season. Together we will explore the impressive new redisplay of the world’s most famous collection of ancient treasures housed within a new world class museum.

Luica Gahlin is an Egyptologist based in the UK, she has been leading archaeological tours to Egypt for 30 years.
